This year I traveled to Nappanee,Indiana with 2 gals who had recently been introduced to the in't veld musical style of bluegrass. The short trip from Lansing, Michigan to the concert was worth it! The folks attending the concerts were sharing with friends where the next stop was so they could come back and ask others along too. We stayed over at the Old Buffalo Inn so we could see them perform again and it turned out the innkeepers daughter had been to their concert at the college earlier in the week! We discovered the in't veld family "pickup" concert under the canopy at the Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival and had a heartwarming time listening and watching the genuine interaction of bonds between musicians -- American, Latvian, and Dutch! Music isn't the only bond though. They have a humorous and genuine way of bonding with the audience by sharing the real meaning of a life centered in a strong faith in God. If they are in the "neighborhood", try to make it to one of their concerts. You'll be blessed!
